Wall weaves, minarets and beautiful wooden panels are captured in intriguing angles and detail, allowing us, the uninitiated observer, to see our heritage through the eyes of an artist. Eric has used the stark medium of black and white photography to show the fine modulations of local craftsmanship.
He has lifted this study out of an ordinary documentation of domestic architecture into the realm of art.
Eric Pens received his early training in art from his parents. His father O. Don Peris was a pupil of M. Gereux, a celebrated French artist.
